I'm pretty swamped, though, so it may be a few weeks. Sorry about that. I'll keep you posted.
I'm not sure of a good way to skip the prerequisite installations. Sorry.

I was prompted to install 2010 specifically. I followed the instructions on the link you supplied, but found that .NET Programmability Support was already installed and set to "Run from My Computer". Is there a setup switch or something to force the installer to proceed without checking for the Interop Assemblies? Here's a screenshot illustrating what I have installed and what happens when I run the installer: Link

Thanks,
Just right click on your PivotTable, choose OLAP PivotTable Extensions, choose the calculation from the Calculation Name dropdown, then click Delete.
Sorry if my question was not clear to you. This is not what I meant. I am aware of this delete option. But my problem is that this delete does not remove the calculated measure from the field list in Pivot Table.

For example, I created a measure called IRRv1 about 2 weeks back and I removed it from Pivot Table, deleted it from calculation library but the MDX generated still has IRRv1 as a measure. So, my question is how do I get rid of these members from PivotTable field List? I have many such fields and they are cluttering up the MDX - that is why I wanted to remove them.

Note, any calculations currently active in the session of the PivotTable are listed at the top of the Calculation Name dropdown. Below that are all the other calculations you have built in the past on any PivotTable so you can quickly pick them and add them to the current PivotTable. My add-in is remembering those calculations at the bottom the dropdown, not Excel. Use the MDX tab to determine which calculations are actually active in the current session.

I can't seem to be able to install the extensions on the 64-bit Win8 / 64-bit Excel 2013 set up. I have downloaded the 64-bit installer "OLAP PivotTable Extensions Setup for 64-bit Excel (v0.8.0).exe" upon first execution I am prompted to instal the Office 2010 Interop Assemblies - which I did, however on subsequent execution of OLAP PivotTable setup I am still prompted to install the InterOp Assemblies. So far I tried uninstalling/re-installing the interop assemblies and looking for 64-bit specific InterOp Assembly installer with no luck.
I have this working perfectly on another machine which has 64-bit Win8 and 32-bit Excel 2013, but I am not able to get it to install on the full 64-bit setup. Any insight as to how I can accomplish this would be appreciated.

Thanks,
I searched for it yesterday but could not find anything.
I would recommend you pull the MDX query out then add your calculation into the WITH clause and try running the query in Management Studio. Let's isolate this from Excel and see if you can get your calculation to work.

I assume you will be able to replicate the error above inside Management Studio. If so, I would recommend you ask your question on the Analysis Services forum. I try to focus this forum just on OLAP PivotTable Extensions and not generic MDX questions.
I am using your tool to add a MDX calculated member to the Pivot Table. My objective is to calculate IRR for a dynamic selection of projects. So, I have invoked the Excel IRR function and passed the parameters. What is strange is that it produces an IRR for the entire table if there are no filters or grouping. But if I apply a filter or grouping, I get a memory error. I have 4 sample projects in my data (P1 to P4). The results are returned for P1 but for P2 to P4, I get the following memory error.

ERROR - CALCULATION ABORTED: Query (1, 54) Memory error: Allocation failure . If using a 32-bit version of the product, consider upgrading to the 64-bit version or increasing the amount of memory available on the machine.

I have tried it 2 different machines, but the same issue is repeating. Is there something that I am doing wrong?

Here is the MDX calculated member I have added:

[Measures].[IRR v1] = Excel!IRR
(
SetToArray
([Data].[Event].[All].Children,
[Measures].[Sum of Cashflow]
)
)

Thanks for alerting me to the issue of Excel 2013 not supporting MDX calculations. Before your post, I tried to use the MDX Calculated members in Excel 2013 and figured out that it is not possible.

I will take a look at Vidas' approach as that seems to be interesting as well. I will read his solution to understand what aspects of his approach will be applicable to my situation.

Is it possible to add MDX calculated members in Powerview? From what I know so far, it does not seem possible.

Make sure you read the Excel 2013 supported features at the bottom of:
https://olappivottableextend.codeplex.com/wikipage?title=Excel%202013

You can't add MDX calculations on top of PowerPivot models in Excel 2013.

You might also look at Vidas' approach to XIRR here:
