DISTINCT SELECT

Feb 24, 2012 at 11:36 AM

Hello all,

I'm brand new in this domain, and I'm using cubes through Excel 2007.

I'd like to select a distinct number of rows.

For instance:

Customer A      3 sales

Customer B      4 sales

Select distinct( costumer) = 2.

Is there anyway to use OLAP pivotTable Extension to calculate such?

Many thanks

J.P

I assume your cube has a Customer dimension? If so, find the Customer field in that dimension and drop it on rows. It should return the distinct list of customers. Then I assume your cube has a Sales measure. Drop that on values. You're done. No need for my add-in.
